Sashihara Rino was a member of HKT48's Team H, and HKT48's former theater manager. She is also a member of Not yet and has a solo career. Furthermore, she is the producer of the idol group =LOVE ("Equal Love") and their sister groups ≠ME ("Not Equal Me") & ≒JOY ("Nearly Equal Joy").

  • Originally a 2nd Generation AKB48 SEED (5th Generation overall), she was added to Team B on August 2008 replacing Kikuchi Ayaka. She was transferred to Team A during the team shuffle, and later to HKT48 following a scandal.
    • Ironically, aside from being a 5th Generation AKB48 she also became the Center for the 32nd AKB48 Single through the 5th AKB48 General Election Selection.
  • Some fans would often mistake her for Kitarie, and vice-versa.
  • Her oshimen are Sato Yukari and Ota Aika
  • Is known for her knowledge of wotagei, as well as being a wota herself
  • Her favourite idol is Sato Masaki of Morning Musume '21.

  • Made a cameo appearance in Nogizaka46's controversial Oide, Shampoo PV as the only faculty member who stayed in the office and wasn't attacked by the students (portrayed by Nogizaka46's Senbatsu). Therefore it made her the 2nd AKB member to work with Nogizaka in a PV, after Maeda Atsuko.
    • Ironically, Oide Shampoo is also Nogizaka46's single involved in their showdown competition against each other when Sashihara released her debut single Soredemo Sukidayo.
  • She went to former Morning Musume's Tanaka Reina's Graduation Concert.

  • She is known for her talent in comedy and MC. She has worked on many variety shows that are not tied to the 48 groups
  • In December 2011, Sashihara was chosen as the image character for the online game Maple Story and starred in a series of Maple Story commercials

  • Was the producer of Matsumura Kaori's solo single Matsumurabu
  • Was a member of the fake group "SONE" with Kitahara Rie, Minegishi Minami and Miyazaki Miho, that regularly participated on Request Hour MCs. They disbanded in 2014
  • The first member in Japan 48Group to win the Senbatsu Election three times in a row and only member to gather over a million votes over the years.
  • She was the chairman of Tokyo Idol Festival from 2017 until 2021, where she was succeded by Nagahama Neru.
  • Snow Man's Watanabe Shota was her highschool classmate, and Yakata Miki was her elementary school classmate.
